LP 295

As a guitar enthusiast over the years, every so often a guitar comes forward that catches my eye. I know a few musician friends look over this blog so here it is.



It is a Gibson hybrid, a mix of a gold top Les Paul and my favorite all time guitar, the larger body ES-295. They are calling it the LP-295.

At this point, Epiphone is making a version of the ES-295. Its a nice guitar. When Gibson goes all out and actually reissues the ES-295, I may have to refi the house.

Its a gritty guitar. Its got the wacky Bigsby tailpiece, its gold, and its unique. It makes me happy at least temporarily.
