Overdosing On Pure Fentanyl
Guardian UK: California alert as six people die from suspected counterfeit painkillers - 22 people in Sacramento suffer overdoses of drug believed to be fentanyl - Opioid up 50 times stronger than heroin is potentially lethal in small doses
Dr Olivia Kasirye, the county health officer, said that some of the Sacramento overdoses have been linked to a white oblong pill marked M367 on one side, resembling a generic version of the name-brand drugs Vicodin, Lortab and Norco, which contain hydrocodone. But the counterfeits showing up in Sacramento may actually be made of pure fentanyl.
Fentanyl can be 25-50 times more potent than heroin and 50-100 times stronger than morphine, Rettig said, making a small amount potentially lethal.

Many were found fallen and trampled during transit, often resulting in terrible injuries including broken bones. Some died even before they reached the slaughter plants. Other studies linked slaughter plants to high local crime levels and environmental pollution.
Can There Be Any Doubt

He constantly berates George W. The Market On Wednesday
Good morning. It is 36 and very sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley. The forecast predicts a fine day in the high 50s and then on Thursday the prediction is that the temperature goes up around 70 degrees. That sounds all nice and rosy except the forecast is also predicting a significant cooling trend starting on Sunday and by significant I mean temperatures in the 20s and 30s. Go figure. It's interesting, Alabama Governor Robert J. Bentley is in the midst of a sex scandal that may force him to resign. Recall that Trump won the Alabama primary easily, and also recall that Trump is fond of bragging about his many affairs, marriages, and publicly refers to women with degrading terms like "piece of ass" and the rest. So what gives Alabama? Your governor's behavior is rather mild compared to the person that you want to run the country and gleefully just voted for. How do you explain such a disconnect?

The Market On Tuesday
Good morning. It is 38 degrees, somewhat overcast, and it is windy here in the Upper Hudson Valley. Looks like the temperatures stay in the high 40s this afternoon, but the forecast has the temperatures near 70 degrees on Sunday. The Egyptian hijacking has been resolved, that's good. I was thinking about the Trump contingency of angry white male supporters. It has occurred to me that Trump's presence in the presidential race has created a larger group of angry voters, that would be the majority of GOPers who hate Trump, plus all Democrats who find Trump distasteful in so many ways. So this repeated meme about the angry white Trump supporter needs a little more investigation.

The Market On Monday
Good morning. It is 42 degrees and it is raining here in the Upper Hudson Valley. A rainy day in the 50s is expected. I hope you had a good holiday weekend. I did, we had an excellent day with our family, and the food was simply outstanding. This year's theme was 'healthy', so less food from the ultra rich side of the scale and a lot more from the good vegetables side of the scale. Still, I overate, which is to be expected. Later in the day I jogged a few miles in the hope of burning off a few calories. I'm at the stage in my life where I can gain weight by merely looking at food.

Invisible To The GOP
I think the excerpted quote below is about as succinct and accurate as it gets. It's all about crisis in the USA, that's where the action is. We are not a forward looking society, generally speaking. Look at Trump's campaign line - "Make America Great Again" - it's like a wish to turn back the clock to the 50s, or some magical period in American history that never existed. So we think crisis with a strong sense of nostalgia.

The Market On Thursday
Good morning. It is 36 degrees and it is sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley. The weather logo is indicating a mostly sunny day with temperatures in the 50s. Easter Sunday looks to be a strong day with lots of sunshine and temperatures in the 60s. How did they get that to happen? How about that Donald Trump, the man is a prognosticating genius. Here he is on TV telling America - "I told you so." You see Trump predicted that there would be another terrorist attack! I don't know about you but here I was thinking, and especially after Paris, that terrorism had ceased and that even the thought of an attack was outside of the realm of human behavior. But Donald Trump had it correct right from the start, you have got to give him credit. I don't know about you but nothing spells presidential credulity more than the uncanny ability to make accurate predictions about the future. Hell, I'm sold, I'll be voting for Trump, in fact if I can, I'll vote twice!

Five Thirty Eight: Why Donald Trump? A quest to figure out what’s happening in America. By Clare Malone
Ruth Albert, a 65-year-old retired postal worker whom I met outside a Trump event in Exeter, N.H., in February, told me that Trump’s immigration policy was a big reason she was attracted to him. “Why should people sneak in?” she said. Albert herself is a descendant of Josiah Bartlett, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and lives in the family’s ancestral home.

The Market On Wednesday
Good morning. It is 50 degrees and it is hazy sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley. The forecast predicts a cloudy day in the 50s with a possibility of rain later on. Here's to Bernie Sanders for cleaning up in Utah and Idaho, wow, convincing wins I must say. Hillary Clinton won in Arizona and just for the record who the hell cares who won on the GOP side as those two lunatics continue to drag the the country into a crap pile. Apparently Jeb is now endorsing Cruz, oh for f's sake. Now I understand why Jeb lost so badly, his credibility is very suspect. Speaking of two lunatics, it looks like two brothers carried out the attack in Brussels. Somehow or other these radical people need to get the message that committing suicide and killing dozens of people along the way is not a good investment, literally, it's like there's a very vulnerable community of people out there who have such a poor lowly view of their lives that they are willing to do this. They need to be deprogrammed and aided in finding out that life is valuable, precious and worth living, and that violence is really bad.
At 9:00 a.m. ET futures are slightly lower and the price of oil per barrel is down now trading just above $41 per barrel. The market is poised to open lower.
Today's article is filled with optimism. After yesterday's terrorist attack there appears to be a steadier mood in the investment world today. Notice that Boone Pickens is predicting that the price of oil will double. Boone Pickens has been about as correct about oil as Ann Coulter is about politics. The man has been off the mark at virtually every step of the way over the past two years. Also notice that low oil prices are really tearing into Venezuela, the country is in a state of upheaval.

George Stephanopoulos then asked the candidate to clarify whether he was blaming the protesters for violent acts instead of the supporters who had punched and kicked them.

The Market On Monday
Good morning. It is 35 degrees and it is cloudy with some sunshine here in the Upper Hudson Valley. A calm day in the 40s is expected. I hope you had a good weekend, got to relax a bit, maybe did one special activity. Hey, it's now officially Spring, so hooray for that. Part of me is thinking that we could be in for a scorcher of a Summer. More than anything though, we do so much enjoy the return of the full light and even though the days will be getting longer through June, the rate at which the light increases per day is soon diminishing. It's true.

Stop Trump Is On
We've read articles that go all over the place on this issue of stopping Trump. Some say it's too late, or, too little too late, or, that the movement itself is too weak, etc etc etc. Here we have the NY Times, the paper of record, saying on Saturday March 19th that the movement to stop Trump is on and happening. Read it and see the numerous constraints, possibilities, and some of the actual plan. We still might very well see a third party traditional conservative on the ballot in November. Rick Perry is a strong possibility because it is thought he could take Texas from Trump and derail him.
There's enough political irony here to go around for everybody. We have Trump threatening to leave the GOP to run as a third party candidate for various reasons. And now we have the GOP itself, sic, saying they will leave the GOP and get in line behind a third party candidate because Trump could win the Republican nomination!

Donald Trump is epically unprepared to be president. He has no realistic policies, no advisers, no capacity to learn. His vast narcissism makes him a closed fortress.
