The Market On Tuesday

Good morning. It is 33 degrees and very sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley. Fro today and the rest of the week temperatures are expected to go into the 50s in the afternoon. There's been a brutal terrorist attack in Brussels. The pictures are very disturbing and we all hope and pray for the people of Brussels,  may they get through this monstrous assault with great fortitude.

At 8:50 a.m. ET futures are moderately lower and the price of oil per barrel is down. The market is poised to open lower.

The attack in Brussels that is affecting markets this morning. Brussels is an important hub in the E.U. and so an attack there is clearly a very deliberate execution. Humanity has once again demonstrated in no uncertain terms its capacity for needless violence and its ability to dwell in deep ignorance.
