I really like Elizabeth, but we needed her to step up this year, along with Sen. Sanders. As things stand now were in for at least another four to eight yrs. of BIG Corp. ownership and rule, which considering the increasingly precarious and desperate straits were finding ourselves environmentally just isn't going to cut it. Action not more hot air ( no pun intended) is needed NOW not someday. There isn't going to be a someday for billions of us and our children and grand children if we keep on the destructive course we are now on. GHG emissions are NOT falling planet wide, they are increasing and this is alarming considering what we already know and are already are experiencing. The GODS of PROFIT ( the golden calf) are firmly in the drivers seat with their feet smashed to the floorboards and we are all going off the proverbial cliff without a care in the world.

She's fighting the good fight to the best of her ability and within the severe constraints of our political system fraught with endless greed and treachery mostly from global corporations that have no boundaries. The pressure to leave the status quo with CO2 emissions and such is overpowering. The money involved is unlimited and the influence it holds over the political system and society is great, it's embedded. I'm not optimistic about it, I am believing more and more that generally speaking we react when the situation is bleakly dire. Even a superstorm coming up the coast and destroying billions of dollars worth of property and livelihoods won't do it. People want to view the superstorm as a weather event that just happens. You know, it was bound to happen sooner or later.
