Yes, in a generation the Repuglirats returned almost all of us back to the way it was in the 19th century. Most of us will work ( if were lucky) till we die because pensions are thing of the past as are unions ( except public service unions) and SS will probably dry up or be trashed through inflation anyway.
A lot of seniors around here get on Section 8.
This is going to be a tricky thing, because a lot of people can't afford to retire. We know why, but we have to figure out how to do it.
When u fig. it out let me know! I'm going to be 60 and employers just laugh at my resume. My education now is ancient and my experience in this culture for the most part useless. Like all the old building around here I'm just another tear down. But, how does one live with this reality? The only thing I have going for me is my thrift and a relatively young wife (50). It's daunting.
