If we have learned anything from the Iraq debacle, its that war is not the answer. This isn't simply pacifist type of talk. This is reality in the modern world. Al Qaeda is not a sovereign country. It is an amorphous organization best dealt with through amped up local authorities and specialized pin point efforts, not large scale wars on a country.
McCain is clearly prone to bombing and opening up more war. Its one thing to need to be viewed as tough and willing to defend America, but McCain is appearing more and more to be way over the top, too bellicose, to open and willing to go to war.
If McCain should win, the prediction is in right now. We will be involved in a new war and probably with Iran.
NY Times: Impulsive, Impetuous, Impatient
...Mr. McCain denounces Barack Obama’s call for direct talks with Iranian leaders and speaks openly about the possibility of bombing Iranian nuclear sites.
“There’s only one thing worse than military action against Iran, and that is a nuclear-armed Iran..."
