OK, another bail out bill is readied for Congressional approval. We've heard warnings that if nothing is done, we go back into the dark ages.
We are skeptics and we tend to doubt this possibility. We tend to think we are getting skewered.
The provision that would make it ok with us is that it goes down but Bush and Cheney must be publicly tarred and feathered.

I liked to be at least kissed before I'm screwed. Or is this one really really about lip stick on a pig? My personal feeling is this. The Treasury plan was to slowly buy out and up piecemeal all the shit out here and they had planned to continue to do this under a Palin/mccain admin. However, these guys can see the internals and they have figured Obama is going to win big and the Dems. are going to get a lock on Congress as well. So, they've opted for Plan Z which was another pumped up crisis and disaster so they can basically get a better deal now while BV$H is in and Congress is still somewhat divided. Is their really a crisis is the real ? yes and no. The on going credit crunch is months old and yrs. in the making. These same gangsters have done nothing till now to remedy it because they were all part of it. Now it's coming to a close and it's time to clean out what's left, leaving an Obama presidency nothing an empty bankrupt treasury. Bill Clinton left BV$H a surplus but the these guys had no intention of making that kind of foolish mistake. This is pure politics. They intend to destroy Obama up front. The coming DEPRESSION will be all his and the Democratic Congress. The Rethugs. in the minority will scream bloody murder from the back benches for the next four yrs. They've already started. This is a deadly trap and IMHO opinion the D's if they had any guts would just walk away from this and while there at it remind the public just who brought them this disaster. Obama is somewhat doing this but not loud enough and not strident enough. He's going to be blamed for this mess in fact he's already being blamed.
Your point is too close to home and as a consequence its also depressing because of the effect on the Obama administration.
The screaming from the background will be very loud and shrill as you say. The media will have no trouble pumping out the criticism especially when it comes from Republicans.
One thing will change that is a wild card. The mood of the country may very well elevate a bit. This is important. We could have an articulate, progressive, and bright president. It will be a major relief in itself.

We have to start changing the central focus of the world economy which is oil. It has to happen. Imagine a failed Obama presidency leading to a wingnut like Palin. She comes in and the fundies, neocons, and oil execs are back to running the country. How far is that going to go in 2012 and on.

How ironic your statement is. After the Civil War that was exactly the price for their freedom every slave paid. Yes, Lincoln freed them but these people had zero. So for the next 130 yrs. they were subjected to being in most cases the American equivalent of a Russian friggin serf. Again, another irony was the very same year Lincoln freed the slaves Alex.2 of Russia freed the serfs. In both instances the freedom granted was in fact in many cases merely the freedom to starve.
I'm sure the BIG $$ guys know damn well that's what is going down here. We're witnessing true POWER being wielded right in front of our faces. As the saying goes $$ talks and BS runs the marathon. The BIG $$ is calling in it's chits on all these bastards. So take notice because if you look close enough you'll see who Wall street owns lock stock and soul. Unfortunately my friend it appears Obama is one of their employees. :(
