Rasmussen - Obama 50% - McCain 44%

Conservative pollster Rasmussen shows Obama increasing his lead over McCain. Obama is now up by 6 points on the day after the debate.

One would suspect that the Obama camp was pleased with his debate performance. During the debate Obama maintained his poise in the face of an angry appearing, condescending, and contentious opponent.

Rasmussen: Barack Obama attracting 50% of the vote while John McCain earns 44%

The seething anger and bitterness were all over mcsame's face last night. He was pissed off he had to be subjected to this "lessor" human and in front of the whole world. he didn't have to say a friggin thing the smirks and the eyes downcast the whole 90 mins. was enough. His whole demeanor was a good visual of how the GOP and it's hated filled followers view Obama and the rest of us. mccsame wanted to cancel the debate not because of any emergency but because of his enormous EGO and pride. He cannot stomach the thought that he is behind in this contest to an N word.

I'm afraid you are right. I was expecting more civility from McCain and that is very disappointing to not see it. The problem is we still might get Palin-McCain and then we are going to have to listen to at least four years of stern self-righteous know it all dad condescending the entire nation. while he fucks us all over.

I don't think so. I'm feeling better and better about O's chances , especially after last night. Mcsames condescending sneer filled performance wasn't lost on the media. The popular consensus I'm seeing all over the tube today except of course @ Fixed news is just this, If you cannot even be civil in a debate with 100 mil.+ watching WTF!! mccsames' performance might work in front of his hard core but it fell flat in this setting with most everyone else. I think he was trying to channel Palin here but got no applause.
