Xenophobia occurs all over the place and throughout history. Its not really a new thing.

Here's an excerpt about xenophobic strains in Quebec.

Islamophobia sounds familiar except we in the US call it Islamofascism.

These guys in Quebec are freaked because they fear global warming is going to bring foreigners into the area. So its better to pre-empt it all now. Sounds a little too familiar.
