Bombing is beyond reprehensible. A terrorist is someone who does not have an established military but does possess a bomb. The qualification and conjunction of formality and military exempts people from being labeled as terrorists when they themselves use bombs.
There is the sole intelligence agent exception. Bombs are OK in this case and you are not a terrorist.
Wild guess here, but I would bet 'formal non terrorist' bombing has killed virtually millions of people worldwide. Yet this is not terroristic, its military strategy.
Bombing does not have eyes to the future. We will bomb Iran to reduce their pubescent nuclear facility to rubble, and apparently we will need to do this every 5 years or so ad infinitum. A good periodic bombing will do a country good. Do bombing planners not only plan for the upcoming bombing but also plan for the one that will follow in the future?
Bombing is the corporal punishment of nations. Its blunt, its physical, its unstoppable, its patriarchal, its dirt stupid dumb. There is no smart bomb, only dumb bombs and snappy Harvard grads with wise cracking conjecture.
Bomb design is similar to a beer drinking contest in that a new military scientist is not really of age until they have adequately designed a new nuclear bomb. Now you're a real man, you out drank me and you know how to blow up countries.
In the context of American exceptionalism, when America bombs, God speaks. When you have the moral authority, bombing is necessary and approved.

JeZeus looks awful grim in this picture. I wonder how he'd react to a chorus of "ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS?"
Just about everything we can think of has been done in the name of Jesus.
This is a ripe time for fanaticism. I can't help but think of Coulter as the poster boy for modern Christianity.
Actually, I think someone like Dobson or Pat Robertson fits as poster boys. Possibly even Jimmy Swaggart ( perfect name for this guy!)
