The Market On Monday

Welcome to March. Soon we will be getting even more hints of Spring. Up here the word is snow but the temperatures are staying in the 32 degree area, so the roads are clear as a bell.

At 7:30 a.m. futures are slightly up. The price of oil is up over $80 per barrel. This is about as high as oil has been in a while.

Investors will be parsing data on personal income and spending, construction spending, and manufacturing, all of which comes out today.

There is some movement in Europe on resolving Greece's insolvency issues.

At the moment the coast is clear.

At 8:30 a.m. ET, the U.S. Census Bureau will release its monthly report on personal income and spending.
