The bill has more holes in it that a pasta strainer.
Recall that Americans like seeing a president win, and that it is now suggested or admitted that Obama gains from this reform bill. That is politics. Politics always seems to divorce itself from meaning or result. Bush goes into Iraq, and people love it. Now, seven years later, even the GOP admits it was a huge mistake. HCR in a horrible and ugly form is passed and Obama comes out on top. On some levels one can insert their own sense of cynicism into that little perk.

May help in Nov. is all Obama cares. On to the next Corp. bail out called Reform. By the time this fool is done nobody will have a job or be able to afford HC or anything else. This is not the kind of Change I signed on for.
I am seeing some heat coming from progressive friends on Facebook this morning, same kind of thinking. Its like being stuck between a rock and a hard place. Republicans are out off their minds with the birthers and baggers and neocons, Democrats are in the pocket of corporations and have lost touch with Democracy. I may need to go on retreat!
That's about as good an analysis of our dilemma as I've heard yet. It's as we like to say here @ the beach one of those non-choices we call "the devil or the deep blue sea." Personally, I want nothing to do with either camp anymore. Now I understand why so many don't bother to even vote.
