Solid Words from the Pope

We may or may not be interested in organized religions. Regardless the Pope does the world a solid and speaks truthful words on his visit down under.

I see it like this, let's have much less greed and materialism, and much more generosity and selflessness.

NYT: Pope, Ending Australia Visit, Criticizes Materialism
“...a spiritual desert is spreading: an interior emptiness, an unnamed fear, a quiet sense of despair..."

"...what was ostensibly promoted as human ingenuity soon manifests itself as folly, greed and selfish exploitation.”

“Our world has grown weary of greed, exploitation and division...of the tedium of false idols and piecemeal responses, and the pain of false promises.”
