Obama's VP Strategy

Politico: Obama not basing VP pick on geography
“I think the most important thing, from my perspective, is somebody who can help me govern..."

“Hillary Clinton would be on anybody’s short list,” he said. “She is one of the most effective, intelligent, courageous leaders that we have in the Democratic Party. … I would love to have Bill Clinton campaigning for me.”
I bet he picks Clinton, and I say that with 60% certainty.

Your wrong not going to happen. But your close it's going too be Clinton's Sect. of State in the 2nd term..Madeline Albright. She has few political negatives high name recognition and the respect of world leaders. Plus, she's loved by the Clinton faction and Obama needs to seal the deal with women.

Very interesting line of thought. She would take care of the Clinton faction, she has the foreign policy experience, she has the age nod, and she's a she, but she is also fundamentally a hawk. That comment about the Iraq sanctions worth the price i.e. many deaths of thousands of children, still stings. I've listened to her on NPR talks at the press clubs and such, smart lady.

Being a hawk doesn't hurt her with O's crowd. It would piss off the left wing but that's not too bad either cause all of it will vote for O no matter what anyway. Albright is the natural pick you heard it here first. My No. 2 is Bill Richardson because he would help with the Hispanic vote and it would piss Hillary and Bill off big time. Plus, Richardson also has sterling foreign policy credentials.
