U.S. stocks staged a late-day rally Tuesday, with the Dow closing up 135 points, as falling oil prices overshadowed grim quarterly financial reports.Clearly homework needs to be done. The connection between stocks and oil cannot be this obvious and direct. More forces must come into play.
If you read the article you get the sense that investors see the news that barrels of oil are dropping in price and then they immediately start battling to buy. The DOW goes up.
