...the former New York mayor only registers 15 percent among Republican primary voters. That puts him in a tie with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who has spent little time in the state and has only a fraction of the organization Giuliani has there.
John McCain and Mitt Romney are statistically tied for the top spot in the poll — McCain's at 25 percent and Romney's at 23 percent.

I think its going to be McCain - Romney for the war party.
Yes indeed, Rudy is looking more and more cooked, we'll see if the polls hold.
In the confusion and shock of 9-11, people all around the country and the world tried to focus on something, anything that was hopeful or perceived as being positive.
Group think prevailed and Giuliani and Bush's popularity soared through the roof, not necessarily because they were good, but I think because they were simply there.
Rudy became the beacon of light in the chaos, true or not, deserved or not. He has milked it ever since, and is attempting to use it to gain the presidency.
He may do it, we've seen so much B.S. with electoral politics, it seems like the key is to remember that the worst possible candidate has a shot. I hope the polls hold, but nothing would surprise me after Bush.
Yes, nothing will surprise any of us after BV$H.
