Extra! Extra!

A complete shocker!

Study: Bush, other officials issued hundreds of false statements before Iraq invasion
A study by two nonprofit journalism organizations found that President Bush and top administration officials issued hundreds of false statements about the national security threat from Iraq in the two years following the 2001 terrorist attacks.

The study concluded that the statements "were part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanized public opinion and, in the process, led the nation to war under decidedly false pretenses."

The study counted 935 false statements in the two-year period.
Imagine that, I am shocked. I know you are as well.

Its a wonder they even bothered. They should send a copy to each Congressman and women ( not that they'll bother to read it. ) none of them bothered to read the so called "Patriot Act" either or the Military Commissions act or the .... u get my pt. Were fucked because no matter who becomes Pres. if all the Bu$hit is left standing when Dear Emperor retires to his ranchero, we will essentially just be selecting a "new" IMPERATOR from among the various senators. Welcome to Empire.

All you can do is hope an article like this gets a lot of play and makes a few sheep take notice. The rate at which the 'news' keeps up with the actual politics is abysmal. We knew he was lying way back when. He we are years later and this is an historical document. Its pathetic and infuriating.

I think the family is too connected for there to be any sort of reprisal against Junior. Junior will remain surrounded by an adulating chorus of those thankful to him and his family for the rest of his life. And he will probably live longer and healthier than you or me or anybody else.

The only thing a Democrat can do in the White House is make a micro change that will translate into a few million people not being quite so ravaged by the excesses of corporations and war. Its a tiny victory.
