Election 2008: McCain vs. Clinton and Obama, McCain Leads Obama by Six, Clinton by Eight
The latest Rasmussen Reports survey of Election 2008 shows Republican frontrunner Senator John McCain with single-digit leads over Democratic Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. McCain now leads Clinton 48% to 40%. He leads Barack Obama 47% to 41%.
Note: Rasmussen is conservative. He generally overstates (overpolls?) the Republican. For example he is presently stating that Bush's approval is close to 40% - definitely not in my part of the country.

Would the American people elect another Republican after the Bush nightmare? Yes.

Yes, is the answer. The reason is simple they aren't ready for either a women or a black man to be Emperor. The D's are without a doubt the dumbest political party in modern human history. They can piss away victory without even trying. Get ready for more War and more rt. wing non-sense. McCain could be even more arrogant and stubborn then BV$H if that's believable? His own party doesn't even trust or like him. Billary will need Obama on the ticket with her to beat McPain and even that might not work! The only hope the Dems. have is making sure people realize that McPain is a fraud and has supported everything BV$H and his gang have done these last 8 yrs. Its got to be a vote against the last 8 yrs. or the D's LOSE big time! Its also going to take Bill himself to run a campaign against McCain just like he did against Obama. The public will buy her only if they believe its a 2 fer + Obama.

The Rt. wing noise machine will just put Monica on 24/7. Plus, if Obama is on the ticket they'll use the race card big time. In any event its going to be a nasty campaign. The D's shot themselves in the foot all last yr. by being gutless in Congess. The public so dislikes Pelosi and Reid that they might just hand the Congress back to the Reptiles as well! Its hard to believe the American public is this stupid but I believe it after these last 7 awful nightmarish yrs.

One of the other problems is that after Super Tuesday, McCain will probably walk away as the candidate, Romney throws in the towel, Huckabee is no longer relevant anyhow.

On the other hand there will probably be a big split between Hillary and Obama, no clear winner.

McCain will have the luxury of turning his guns on the Dems for several months while the Dems still in fight. So the public will get a lot more negative press to view, or for the few who do, read on the Democrats.

That is an extremely favorable development for McCain.

War with Iran is looking more real.

Yes, more War. Its all so stupid and evil. The war machine though is all this country has anymore. We make nothing and we import everything. Sooner or later the rest of humanity is going to isolate us. Its already starting.
