I recall it really started with Newt's rise in the 90's and the attempt to destroy Bill Clinton's Presidency. The GOP is as we all now see morphed into a far right wing party since Reagan. Maybe this time they will get it through their very thick obstinate little brains that they need to lighten up their game plan just a tad. The problem right now regardless of the election is what exactly is the GOP? It's like 4 different parties right now - the Trumps, the conservative Christian Pence/Cruz's, the big business Koch backed Walkers, and then the old guard dying out establishment pro war/neocon Bush/MCCain/Graham people. There is no longer a moderate GOP. By today's standards, Nixon would be a leftist.; 12:40 PM
