No surprises here. The Christian rights pro-Israel stance is really all about their end of times ideology, not a Pro-Jewish position. One of my neighbors a hard religious rightist told me as much a few yrs. ago. He said with a smile we only support Israel because it's necessary so Jesus will return and when he does all Jews on Earth must convert or be tossed into the flames. He, of course, didn't even get the symbolic horror of what he had said about being tossed into the flames. Clueless.

What a tasteless remark, brutal. They are trying to turn on the heat with Bannon. One thing going against Trump is that the press, the real press, not the fake press, is critical of him.
