The Market On Monday

Good morning. It is 30 degrees and sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley, the forecast predicts a sunny day with temperatures in the 40s this afternoon.

At 9:30 a.m. ET futures are moderately lower and the price of oil per barrel is up. The market is poised to open moderately lower.

There's a lot going on. There's concerns about the Saudi on again off again deal to limit oil production, concerns over Trump's infrastructure spending notions and its effect on the dollar and inflation, and most importantly, concerns over a likely Fed interest rate hike in December. The indexes are rolling, in record territory, and the sum total of all the concerns seems to be the drag this morning.
