I'm trying to, still in a deep funk over our new President-elect Herr DRumpf. We should have known. These are the same dumb fucks that gave us NIXON, REAGAN & GWBV$H. Once more we enter the madhouse of Reactionary politics. Would Bernie have beat him? I don't know? A lot of this was a Cultural vote and racism. Yes, economics was mixed in , maybe Bernie would have turned out the young like in 2008 , but other groups would have stayed home, so it's hard to say, plus the media would have been dead set against a SOCIALIST winning and tRUMPF would have fired up the old anti-Commie machine full tilt and the anti-semitic machine as well. He did anyway right at the end didn't he? No, Bernie might have made it closer but win it? We'll never know, sadly.

Maybe Biden was the best choice, no skeletons in the closet, emails or otherwise, completely vetted as it were. I'm in a funk too, we all are, all my friends, relatives. We're still in shock and don't want to accept the fate, four years at least of this. Yet, it's important to at least try to not let this weigh to heavily, drive up the negative emotions, the depression and the anxiety. I've already hit the streets for runs, I go every other day. I meditate a lot, it helps me. I'm sleeping better, last Tuesday night was miserable for sleeping.

Last Tues. nite was a horror movie for me. I couldn't sleep I was in a full blown panic attack. I'm still feeling the after effects. I'm out running doing T'ai Chi daily and stretching and painting. Have to keep busy to try and keep the blues at bay. Sadly, though for the first time in my life I'm thinking about immigrating . I'm not sure I want to live in the US anymore. Fascism is an ugly thing I had a friend that was once stationed in Spain in the 60's and he told me it was scary and that he could never understand why we catered to Franco. I get it now though. We've always had a Darkside haven't we and every once in awhile even in modern times it comes out.

Oh yeah, we are going full tilt shadow side, in all respects, top to bottom. Yeah, it's a problem for me especially knowing I'm in the last 1/4 of my life and that it's going to be ripe with distress. I like what you're saying, T'ai Chi, running, painting, yes, definitely do those things. Hard times produces a lot of intensity and conviction. Tell people they will be held down or held back and watch what happens, many will rise above it.
