He doesn't care. Bannon is his visible link to the hard neo-nazi right and he wants that right up front as a reminder to the GOP and the Dems. that he's more than willing to use violence to get what he wants. They all have to stop thinking Trump is in the American tradition of politics in the 20th century he's not. He's in the Fascist tradition of the 20th Century. If you want to understand him spend some time studying and reading the way Authoritarians and Totalitarians handle political situations. He told us all who he admires I didn't hear him mention Lincoln or FDR or Reagan. He mentioned PUTIN folks think about that.

Meanwhile the protests continue, and this move is going to bring it out more. People know what Bannon is all about. There's a powder keg under the country and Trump is sitting on the detonator.

Yep, we'll see. People are burning off steam it's been a bad yr and nobody thought it was going to turn into a bad eight yrs. ( sorry but the odds are were looking at 2 terms.) Unless, he dies and then we get Pence. Either way, nobody thought this nightmare would continue. People wanted change but not this variety. Real Estate doesn't eat or vote or work so screw his electoral college win. WE lost and people have had it losing this way .It's ripped open the scar from 2000 and the awful wars, and depression BV$H left us. WTF are these yahoos thinking that somehow this klown would do less damage to them? Morons. I'm planning my exit I've had quite enough of Amerikka the clueless.
