& they want to claim ( no pun intended) that the Recession is over? For whom is it over? I guess prosperity is right around the corner again, right? Barak "Hoover" Obama bringing you the very best in Gov't policy since 1929.
I think people, aka the news media, link it to the stock market. Its all about money. If the DOW was at 7000, then it would be a recession. Its the trickle down economy spread out over the society's understanding as portrayed by the media.
