Primary Color

Like many, I got caught up watching the returns from Tuesday's primaries. I stayed up a wee bit too late. Yes, I am dragging it today.

Why did it take the media so long to call Rhode Island and Ohio for Clinton.

In Ohio, she's leading Obama by a football field and there's 50 something percent of the vote in, and no projected winner. We see projected winners with zero percent of the vote in all the time. It smelled a little fishy to me.

When we look at the vote for Texas and Ohio we see -
Texas Primary

Clinton 1,452,776

Obama 1,354,553

McCain 707,622

Huckabee 521,951

Ohio Primary

Clinton 1,202,024

Obama 976,368

McCain 632,575

Huckabee 323,074
Add up the Democratic and Republican voters and you've got a million more Democrats going out to vote than Republicans in each state. So why does Rasmussen have McCain beating either Obama or Clinton handily.

Could it be that a million Republicans are not bothering to go out and confirm McCain, a rather unpopular candidate to many Republicans. Or "He's going to win anyway, why bother?" Or is Rasmussen F.O.S.

Speaking of McCain: Bush endorses McCain in US race
Mr Bush said his one-time rival would be a president with the "determination to defeat an enemy and a heart big enough to love those who hurt".
"a heart big enough to love those who hurt", excuse me while I barf. What about a cool objective dissociative ignorance for benefiting humanity on any level. Hey, if we're passing the baton, let's get a good grip on it.

The mugshot is Mussolini, arrested as a youth. If the fascist shoe fits...

Just our luck in a for sure Demo. yr. two candidates are now in a dead heat with no clear winner ahead. Wouldn't it be ironic that the Dem. self-destruct at just the moment in history they are most needed to stem the vile black tide of neo-con cypto-fascist and religious wing nuts from finishing the job of destroying the Republic and the economy at the same time! The Reptiles are cheering right now its a friggin MIRACLE for them!

Self destructing is a Democratic specialty.

There's a new ABC poll that has Obama or Clinton, either handily beating McCain.

McCain linked his campaign with Bush's, that might be a mistake.

So there's the self destructing Dems on one side and McCain without a clue on the other.

You can only watch and shake your head, like some massive train wreck in mid blossom.
