Want astounds me is the utter gall of this posse! Sending Cheney to the ME is a little like sending Himmler to a Bar Mitzvah. Its so in your face and soooo like this bunch. Can next Jan. 20th come fast enough?
I suspect Cheney has different talking points for different countries. With Iraq he's just telling them what to do and what's going to happen. With the Saudis he's groveling and begging. With the UAE he's one of the boys. He's also making his own money, making his own special deals. So much of what he does is secretive and in keeping with the authoritarian style as you say. But you are right, 1-20-09, that's where its at.
Talk about a traitor. This guy tops the bill for betrayal of trust for any elected official since Nixon. How the Dems. didn't opt to Impeach the whole sorry ass bunch after the fall 2006 Congressional election is one historians will ponder for decades?
They didn't have the votes in the Senate. No way they get 10 Republican Senators to impeach either one of them.
Bush is part of the deep internal power elite of the country. He's not only above the law, he is the law.
Cheney, he's the vice president and he does the dirty work business manipulating the public trust on all levels, for the complete benefit of a few hundred people. Dick Cheney, servant of the people, what a joke.
