Don't forget, a tracking poll is done day to day, it's not the same as a poll conducted over several days.

Jim Sande said...: Exactly - never put all your eggs in one poll, ever. But put even less eggs in a tracking poll. They do swing. How you're supposed to look at tracking polls is to see how they flow over a period of one full week. The media does a disservice by getting all itchy trigger finger jumpy on each single daily poll. People don't know this though, so they get all jumpy too.; 1:00 PM
