The Market On Monday

Good morning. It is 37 degrees and it is sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley, the forecast predicts a sunny day with temperatures in the mid 50s this afternoon. Well, we are almost there. The election is 24 hours away. Checking the polls this morning, both The Princeton Election Consortium and The Huffington Post have moved Clinton to a 99% chance of winning. The news from Comey that Clinton's emails do not warrant further investigation might help Clinton tomorrow, maybe not. Either way, Comey is a grand POS for putting that out there 10 days ago with virtually no other reason than to shift the dynamics of the election. He is one vicious screwed up hateful SOB, may he be fired ASAP.

At 9:10 a.m. ET futures are amazingly higher and the price of oil per barrel is up. The market is poised to open significantly higher.

Make no mistake this huge premarket gain with the DOW up 250 points, is all due to the news that Clinton's emails do not merit further investigation. Wall Street wants Clinton to win and is terrified of Trump. That, is the long story, short.

Global markets moved higher on the news (no further investigation into the emails). Analysts have predicted that stocks would suffer if Donald Trump was elected president, and this announcement could give Clinton a boost.
