It's no mystery that suicide rates are highest where the sun shines the least. This isn't true though among the Eskimos and Inuit people who are better adapted to the dark cold climates they live in.

I make a point of taking a long walk every day, having a dog helps too. For people who have a hard time getting outside, get a dog and if you want to really take care of it, take the dog outside a lot.

Cat person here, but I do walk whenever the weather permits. here I get to walk by the sea which also helps. The horizon has a good effect on one's mood.

Yeah, I'm envious. I love the ocean. We have some nice fields and nature preserves around here and it's easy to get to from where I live, a walk in the woods is good too.

I love walking in the woods. Every Sunday I teach a T'ai Chi class in a local woodland park, it's a wonderful peaceful place.

Wow, good for you. T'ai Chi is cool, I took a beginner class one time and liked it, but I did not continue.
