Yes, he's certainly a possibility, especially since we all know Ohio always figures very highly in these contests. He's also associated with the so called Progressive wing of the party for all that's worth.
He's great I agree but it's not a good idea to pull a Democratic Senator out of a swing state with a republican governor to appoint a replacement. Not in a year where it’s critical to flip the senate as well as winning the white house.
Your right Marion. Hopefully, the Dems. can get the Senate back. That's important for court appointments at a min . and treaties. The house has been gerrymandered by the GOP to try and hold on to it forever.

He's on MSNBC regularly as a H.C. spokesperson, supporter, and defender. He's a straight shooter, he's about as good as it can get in the Senate.
