The Market On Monday

  Good morning. It is 50 degrees and it is overcast here in the Upper Hudson Valley. The forecast has it going up into the 60s this afternoon and we will see the sun. Looks like it's probably back to cold for Tuesday. I hope you had a good restful weekend, lots of activity here with chores and such. We see that Kasich and Cruz are teaming up to tag team Trump, excellent. The longer the GOP primary battle continues the better, as America gets to see how dirty politics is, and the GOP can certainly deliver in this realm.

  At 9:00 a.m. ET futures are modestly lower and the price of oil per barrel is down. The market is poised to open modestly lower.

  Saudi Arabia is set to unveil an economic plan today that will move the country away from being exclusively about oil, black gold now represents roughly 75% of its economy. This is a 20 year plan, and this is salient, one wonders how many other oil strongholds are thinking in this way.
