The Market On Friday

Good morning. It is 47 degrees and it is sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley. The forecast predicts a sunny day with temperatures in the low 60s this afternoon. Well another week has flown by once again, and on CNN the big headline is how Trump is trying to sway Bernie Sanders supporters. Let the head shaking begin; a Bernie Sanders supporter who switches to Trump needs to do some deep deep deep soul searching, because you are one confused puppy.

At 9:00 a.m. ET futures are modestly lower and the price of oil per barrel is up. The market is poised to open lower.

Quickly glancing around at this morning's market data, we see that oil has reached a level not seen in over 6 months. Oil is now trading in the $46.50 area and besides Amazon seems to be one of the few gainers this morning. Of course it's a long day and the market can potentially swing over a 7 hour period.
