Robert Reich: The Endgame of 2016′s Anti-Establishment Politics
But, unlike previous elections, a good number may simply decide to sit out the election because of their even greater repulsion toward politics as usual – and the conviction it’s rigged by the establishment for its own benefit.

That conviction wasn’t present in the 2008 election.

I concur with Robert on his analysis of the situation out here. HRC has the (D) nomination wrapped up , but it's a dirty win at best considering the way the rules exist. Sanders would have fared much better in many primaries that were closed to Indies and everyone knows it. Whatever, Reich believes as I do that fear of Trump isn't going to be enough to motivate the youth vote this fall. HRC is going to have to openly support some of the concrete things they want. If she doesn't they'll probably stay home as they did in the last two Cong. elections.

Her VP choice may or may not help her cause as well. Elizabeth Warren I think would bring in Bernie people, I think. But some other establishment people might hurt her cause. Hard to predict the GOP, Trump is repulsive to many there too.
