Soaring World Food Prices

Looking slightly under the covers here we see that blame is being placed on speculation in the commodities markets as the source of rising food prices globally.

Translation - greed is lifting its nasty little face up again. A few can get rich while millions can starve, that is how the super accumulation of wealth works.
