If you would have known the whole thing was a hoax you could have saved yourself the bother!

Well, where is the existential terror that should be sloshing around then? We do our little lonely life trajectory, and at the point when it turns downward, why aren't we going a bit mad with the pathetic and horrifying situation? According to this article there's no problem with that, how do we stand it?

I guess some people make their downward trajectories with a certain elan.

I think after it happens enough times we are supposed to understand it better. Some don't, but some do.
