Libyan Revolution

The Libyan revolution is gaining traction throughout that country.

I am not clear yet on how organized the rebels are but they seem to be coalescing around a revolution. They are controlling oil fields and some cities.

Its starting to look like they could do it.

Guardian UK: Libya rebels isolate Gaddafi, seizing cities and oilfields
...shutting down oil exports and mobilising rebel groups in the west of the country as the revolution rapidly spreads.

...almost all shops remain closed and the internet is blocked.

All southern oilfields are in rebel control.

...when Gaddafi started killing them they rose up.

I hope the rebels win. Mummar is the relic of a bygone era. He's a brutal dictator and my guess is in the end he'll flee to Saudi Arabia to join his ilk.

He's nuts and completely over the top mad with power. Seriously now, who doesn't know that, maybe the 2 dozen people in his closest circle and even there I doubt they don't know.
