Good coverage of this on Amy Goodman this morning. The hired thugs on horseback with molotov cocktails and clubs tearing up the paving stones to throw were defeated! The pro-democracy demonstrators would not get sucked into the battle. They protected themselves, did not tear up the pavement, were non-violent. Pretty thrilling, I wish them well.
