What's It All About Anywho

Any article that takes on one of the big questions usually gets my attention.

I think people reflect on these questions, some a little bit, some quite a bit. Then they back away because there is a sense of getting too close to the ineffable. Its always present but its not in the national discussion as it were. Religion is the safe haven for some where the question is assumed to be present and digested. Science is another outlet.

The question of what constitutes life has dogged scientists since the early days.

This is the problem with most proposed definitions of life: They tend of have loopholes.
