Obama and his neo-liberal cabal along with their GOP Corporatist pals have their eyes on the prize SSI. They want to hand the rump of the program over to Wall st. to be promptly stolen and dived up by the oligarchs. They'll now use the under funding they have called a Holiday no less to do the job. The GOP will insist raising this tax back to where it was is a tax increase and refuse to do it. They'll also refuse to fund it from the general revenue streams. This is a dirty little deal these guys made in private.
The American people have a proud history of being swindled. We are ripe for the pickings. Its going to go down well. We need to make a huge stink.
The media suppresses any news that shows protest on the left and it amplifies any protests that happen on the right.
