Cowardly Shooting Aimed To Sabatoge Peace Attempt

I don't think anyone expects the new peace talks between Israel and Palestine to yield any significant gains other than the fact that the process begins anew. It does have some symbolic meaning which in turn does have some power. Its like making a wish. Establishing an intention is the first step in any positive endeavor.

Hamas has once again demonstrated a cowardly and brutal display of violence and contempt by killing four Israelis. We don't have to go far to recognize the attempt to derail the process before it even begins. This is very sad and we condemn any and all related violent activity.

CS Monitor: Hamas targets Israeli-Palestinian talks by killing four Israelis
...Hamas gunmen killed four Israeli settlers in their car outside the West Bank city of Hebron.

...the Islamist Hamas movement remains an important force in Palestinian politics...

"I hope that the three parties involved make sure that they don't play into the hands of the attackers...The attack and its timing aims at sabotaging the peace process so the response should be to redouble efforts."
