Flooding In Wisconsin, Minnesota, And South Dakota

The Midwest gets hit with flooding, its part of the equation. The Mississippi and its related river branches breach their lines with hard rains in a flat landscape. Meanwhile it remains relatively dry in the Hudson Valley. The leaves will fall fast.

One of the towns hardest hit by the flooding was Arcadia, Wis., where 343 homes were evacuated after the banks of the Trempealeau River toppled with water, drowning the town’s downtown, destroying power lines, and swamping its two main bridges.
