Got X-rays?

Let me start by saying the excerpted story below reveals one of the most messed up, vile, infuriating, and disturbing things that the government has ever perpetrated on the public.

The Feds are sending out mobile X-ray units to randomly X-ray our cars and trucks. You may already have gotten the ray.

Pretty f-ed up, would you agree?

This is the world of anti-terrorism.

CS Monitor: 'Feds radiating Americans'? Mobile X-ray vans hit US streets
As an antiterror measure, the US government has deployed mobile X-ray technology to randomly scan cars and trucks.

"This really trips up the creep factor because it's one of those things that you sort of intrinsically think the government shouldn't be doing..."

The whole anti-terror thing has gotten wildly out of control. In fact some human rights activists and I'm one of them, contend that these very programs threaten our freedoms more then the terrorists themselves and are in fact exactly the kinds of things that the terrorists are trying to get us to do. They want to transform us into a terrorized mass of people who will accept a police state. I think these kinds of revelations confirm just how far this madness has penetrated out society.

This is the main point in my opinion, the methods are worse than the terrorists, just as you say. We go pointing X-rays at people randomly. WTF are they thinking, this is an utter outrage.
