Live Science: Degraded Oil From BP Spill Coats Gulf Seafloor
A research team from Columbia University in New York...found oil on the seafloor, evidence that it may be in the food chain, and signs that it may be hidden in large marine mammals. Out of sight out of mind. BP doesn't give a shit how much of the environment it pollutes. It only cares about $$$.
How do they clean it up in the water? I don't know. How do they clean it off the sea floor? I'm sure they don't have the equipment to do that because it was never developed.
They won't bother to and nobody will make them is more like it. What will the effect be on the living systems there? I can tell you this however, Fox news and the Reich wing howler monkeys of Talk radio will be telling everyone endlessly it will do nothing.
