Reuters in reporting that the economy lost 54,000 jobs in August. The number beats the predicted 100,000 plus many expected to see. So it is bad but not the ultra bad many feared. I am going to say that when the Fall picks up, that there will be an increase in jobs. That's a prediction.

It was a wash last month. Were bumping along on the bottom. The Pres. and his advisors seem to relish the next two yrs. with a GOP Congress they can continue to blame while making backroom deals with the same Big Corps. In fact it will easier to make the deals because he will no longer even have to try and placate his left wing. It's all Clinton all the the time now. But history tends to repeat itself as farce as they say. The GOP will not want the economy to go north till after Pres. Palin is safety in office then they'll start up the jobs machine and by then even a part-time min. wage job will seem like manna from heaven. These are deeply cynical people. The D's by then will barely even exist anymore having completely demoralized their own base and driven away the Indies as well. Obama will be forever remembered as the black Hoover of the D party the man who came talking Change and Hope and left without even being noticed.
