The health care reform bill is now chopped and channeled and allegedly there's one person in Iowa who stands to benefit with improved health care.
Fortunately Lieberman is looking out for the well being of his constituency, that would be all the insurance CEOs in Hartford.
McClatchy: Obama might not get health care overhaul for Christmas
Lieberman angered liberals anew recently when he first said he couldn't back health care legislation with a public option. Sunday, he stoked the fire again, saying he could not support expanding Medicare to 55- to 64-year-olds.
Liberals howled, trotting out a September interview with the Connecticut Post.
"It is absolutely absurd that after months of work, President Obama and the Democrats are letting one senator, Joe Lieberman, gut the health care bill."

Reform in DC these days means padding some huge mega Corps. bank acct. and while doing it throwing the tax payers and whats left of the middle class to the dogs. Oh and then claiming to everyone that this reform is absolutely wonderful and everyone should love it. Well, whatever, but please don't piss on head and then try to tell me its raining. So much for Change we can believe in.
Now he says he's going to join the GOP by 2012. U mean he isn't already a member ? Fooled me.
He knows he has leverage because he is vote number 60 and so he's playing it completely to his own miserable selfish advantage. Can't wait for the creep to be done with, out, playing golf in some remote island.
