The Market On Wednesday

At 8:25 a.m.futures are modestly up and the market is poised to rise at the bell.

Investors like what they see in an improving housing market and a blank check for the insurance industry with our new health care welfare or rather reform act.

Investors like this holiday season, its all ho ho ho and good cheer. The equities market has been sailing since March and although there will be a few bumps in the road, its still trending up. 10,500 is on tap and I would like to mention that some of my investor friends were thinking 11,000 by the end of this year. At this point, that does not sound doable.

...positive findings on home sales and GDP, along with progress with the healthcare bill, have all helped bolster the markets.

Government figures on personal income and spending in November will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET.
Reuters: Stock futures tick higher after Micron profit, ahead of data
"You should see the recovery continuing to emerge in the data today, and investors will continue to respond positively to that..."
