Rubberize

Talk about more bang for the buck...

Family planning beats solar and all that is green as a less costly way for combating CO2 emissions.

Certainly makes sense, would you agree - less people = less emissions.

How do you get the abstinence only Bushie crowd to get on board this one.

If you think there are global warming deniers now wait till the fundamentalist right gets a hold of this one...

Optimum Population: CONTRACEPTION IS “GREENEST” TECHNOLOGY - Family planning cheapest way to combat climate change
The report, Fewer Emitters, Lower Emissions, Less Cost, commissioned by the Optimum Population Trust from the London School of Economics*, concludes that “considered purely as a method of reducing future CO2 emissions”, family planning is more cost-effective than leading low-carbon technologies. It says family planning should be seen as one of the primary methods of emissions reduction.

This is a loser. trying to fight against a primary drive doesn't work. What does work is prosperity. In countries were they're is a good economy birth rates fall. Its counter Intuitive isn't it?

I think that sex ed, along with making birth control available is good. According to my deep operatives when a country starts taking family planning seriously all kinds of good things happen including improved economy. Will it actually happen? I think yes and no and it depends on who is in charge. If its fundies - no way. They think that its all about going to heaven. If its liberals - better chance because they don't mind birth control.

The fundies intend to out breed us. Problem with some of them is they hate sex and love fetuses. We love sex but aren't real hot on having to many kids.

Actually they might succeed in out breeding the rest of us. They don't seem to care one iota about how a person is supposed to survive with n money. So women can have a dozen babies and live in adverse poverty that's just fine and dandy.

I never understood how you could argue against abortion and simultaneously do nothing to improve economic incomes so people could support the kids.
