Knicked

My one remaining pleasure in professional sports is the NBA.

I always liked basketball. Used to play with the noontime YMCA crowd through the 90s. Now the knees are unwilling and the back is at best tricky.

Being a NYer, the team of choice is the Knicks. Yes I am a Knicks fan. Baseball is fair, Football is sanctioned thuggery, but the Knicks are my team.

Post Patrick Ewing, the team has been a disaster.

This year they started at a miserable 1 win and 9 losses. The toilet loomed.

But, praise Jesus, they are turning around. The team has an excellent record for December. Now there is even fragile talk of playoffs and such. That would be the s**t.

Its Duhan, Gallinari, Lee, Chandler, and Jeffries. Seriously now, how can you not like a team that has a native of Italy on it, playing pro basketball no less, and he can shoot.
