Shot To Heck

Last week's record 5 day gain in the stock market was quickly wiped out today with the DOW dropping 680 points to 8,149.

All along I've said the market will oscillate between 9,500 and 7,500. It may be time to revise the numbers to 9,000 and 7,000. Regardless, the scale is sinking, we are heading downward.

Reuters: Stocks slide as economy, Bernanke raise fears
Adding to the market's woeful day, the arbiter of U.S. business cycles declared that the United States entered recession in December 2007 and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke said the U.S. economy remained under considerable strain.
