Going solar is great but the reality is like the Prius the only people that can afford it don't really need it. The whole green economy thang is just a thang for pols to blab about. When it comes time for them too put "our" $$ where their mouth is it won't happen. The OILY gang will win out . Watch the boob tube lately it's non-stop Mobi/EXXON , Conoco, BP etc. They have the $$ to shape public opinion the green crowd has zip.
Eventually it will filter into more and more of the community. There are places now that have not been updated since 1930 so that will continue. But yes initially the rich will get it.
